I think most fans prefer seeing all the members on the screen throughout the show.

When one or more members were running the batsu, they only came onscreen occasionally.
I think there would be lots of interest in Downtown subbed material from 1982 (debut year) to 1989 (move to Tokyo and premiere of Gaki no Tsukai).

How do we get those who are willing to do subbing work to rally around this idea?
Masahiro Tanaka signed with the New York Yankees. My guess wasn't too bad. He got a 7 year contract worth $155 million.

What's the status of Part 2's subbing?
I really liked "Summer Time Machine Blues". It's a comedy about friends in a college sci-fi club and neighboring photography club who unexpectedly find a time machine in their room. It's available on Daily Motion with English subs. Part 1: m Part 2: m Part 3: m Part 4: m If those links don...

Is Team Gaki also subbing this?

Do we have a competition going on?
Tanaka was posted a few days ago. So, the bidding among MLB teams has started.

Current talk is that Tanaka will get at least $17 million per year for at least five years. If a bidding war develops, it could go much higher.

I'll guess really high: 7 years, $130 million.
I've been following this as a big baseball and Red Sox fan. m As a pitcher, Tanaka went 24-0 last season, leading his team to the Japan Series championship. He's publicly stated in the last couple days that he wants to play Major League Baseball in the U.S. However, his team has to "post" ...
A young Yamazaki (pre Cocorico) engages in slap fights with various people, including Heipo.

Heipo looks much tougher (at least for ten seconds) than I've ever seen before.

This clip is a bit confusing. Perhaps somebody who has seen the whole unsubbed episode can help provide some context.

Tanaka gets in the face of the guy who brutalizes him with Thai kicks in the No Laughing games.

I've never seen this posted before and couldn't find it in a search. Though, it looks like a recent sub by "Shion" who posted it on You Tube. A young skinny Yamazaki (probably before Cocorico joined the cast) attempts various "magic" tricks using his ass while Downtown assists. m...

The show has not done many theme activities since the Hotelman episode four years ago. The Hospital, Police Station, and High School games made much better use of the themes.

So, I wouldn't expect too much beyond the established set pieces.
