hamada’s so unfortunate now that he’s older.

To summarise the incidents Hamada is being trialed for here:

1. The first VTR is a summary of incidents that happened the past year. The episodes mentioned are: Hamada’s Passionate Cram School (2014.04.20), Classic Retro Arcade Gaming (2013.12.08), the latter half of 2013’s No Laughing Preview (2013.12.08) and an unaired part of the opening to 2013’s No Laughing Special.
2. Dorians’ Hirai came to visit Hamada after a shooting of a show. After it was revealed that Hirai was attending Inomoto’s birthday party, Hamada decided to give a mandarin to Hirai to give to Inomoto. He decided to write ‘Happy Birthday’ (お誕生日おめでとう) but it was later found when Hirai gave it to Inomoto that Hamada had mistakenly written ‘お誕日おめでとう’ leaving out one Kanji character from his message.
3. Inomoto called Kimura Yuichi to ask whether he was coming to Hamada’s birthday party, but Kimura had work on that day and couldn’t come. After being afraid that Hamada would get angry at him for not attending, Kimura decided to get a birthday present for Hamada. After searching many shops, Kimura found Hamada a suitable T-shirt. He then spotted a T-shirt stand for women and decided to buy one for Hamada’s wife as well. Some time later, Hamada came in to see Kimura to thank him for the shirt. Kimura then found that Hamada had mistakenly worn the shirt meant for his wife.
4. Kimura mentions one more incident at the very end. This one I’m not entirely sure of but I think it has something to do with Hamada and his sight.

Kimura and Hamada were in a location bus, Kimura sitting behind Hamada. Hamada was apparently famous for ripping out pages from magazines (袋とじ, not sure what it exactly means but it seems to be mostly a porn magazine thing, hence Matsumoto and Hamada’s exchange in the last scene), but Kimura hadn’t heard any ripping noise in a while. Then he realized it must have been because Hamada couldn’t actually see anything without his reading-glasses. "He must have just kept looking out of the window… just looking at the scenery…"

Fukuro toji. Some pages in the magazines are sealed together to conceal pictures/articles. Hamada is famous for being able to rip the pages apart cleanly, even without looking. In fact, he has done it before in a gaki episode.(can’t remember the exact episode but it was set in a cafe).
