Now that the fever of No Laughing is over, time to get the show back into normal gear. This week features Drunk Dragon’s Suzuki Taku’s 24 hour interview. In all honesty, I don’t know why they chose him, because from what I’ve seen of him on other variety shows, he hasn’t got any particular qualities other than being a bit of a troll on Twitter, but I’m not part of the staff so…

I don’t wonder why they chose him, I wonder why they don’t use one of the 4 members (Yamasaki already did this)… Sadly, that’s another proof of the show’s quality falling down…

I’m downloading this now, but before watching I’d like to comment on "why they chose this guy"; Suzuki is known as a significant airhead. He also has quite aggressive personality so when you combine the two, the results are often hilarious. A while ago he appeared on the latest "Maji-Girai 1/5 [one-fifth]", a long-running regular corner on God Tongue (Ogi-Yahagi’s show), and it was really great episode.
His partner, Tsukaji, did a Shichi-henge earlier this year so they probably have good relations with Downtown.
When it comes to regular cast, Yama-chan was easily the best target of the interview because of his position as the suberi/ijime character. Matsumoto would probably get too embarrassed to either answer seriously or make proper gags, Hamada isn’t very good when performing solo and (wild opinion incoming) Cocorico is pretty boring in general.
