I’m translating Gaki No Tsukai to my native language, but aside from the Batsu Games, can’t find any separate english subtitles for the episodes. Is there any way to get them, or do the translators only make hardsubs available?

It depends on which subs you mean, a few subbers don’t do soft subs, but they could give you a soft sub file if you ask.

I’m assuming what you need is the english translation.
A simple question to any subbing group will get you the file BUT. I know there are some that just rip the .srt from the hardsubs.

http://www.dailymotion.com/DNGNTAAIf it’s the same "Gaki Archives" that’s been active around here, you should send him a message because if it’s the timing you are worried about. The timing is incorporated in to the .srt.
Main problem is that there are alot of on screen text including .ass draw objects, so for your translation adventure to fully work you’ll need to be familiar with aegisub.

If you were to translate it and upload it. Credit would go to typesetter and translator(From japanese to english), And then to you, being the translator in to [native language].
