Haha yeah. I didn’t recognise him at first either. He lost around 8.5kg of weight in about 2 months on the diet in the commercial, it was also mentioned on a talk episode of Gaki no Tsukai. Press talk he did a month ago:

But this look, with that hairstyle etc. is something that was done just for the commercial I think. There is also this image on the DHC diet website haha:

By contrast this photo posted yesterday by an idol filming a travel show episode with him is more easily recognisable :rofl: (They took the photo because they found the focused way he ate melon bread unique lol… It must be all that Kiki training).

You’re welcome.
I’m not sure if it was taken exactly yesterday, I think they went out filming the travel show and then came back and posted stuff online about it. Yamasaki also posted yesterday a challenge to his Twitter followers with a photo of the location (with a pun "it’s great here, it’s a place called ‘hell’"), asking people to guess where it is. But I think it’s probably the most recent photo of him. Since even the person who posted it doesn’t yet know when the episode they filmed together will air.

When I was in Japan last month, I saw a standie of him promoting the diet. :D I proceeded to burst out laughing. My friend gave me a strange look
