On the show "初めて○○やってみ" ("Try for the first time") Housei participates in a challenge to call his youngest daughter and ask directly if she loves him for the first time. He also manages to rope in his eldest daughter.

Haha, don’t blame you, that [i:3dd4nq33]would[/i:3dd4nq33] fit his ‘character’ as a comedian.
It was funny when he said "She’s liked by everyone. pause Just like me." I’m sure he knew that’d get a laugh. He actually seems well-liked by those who meet him in person but plays well to his on-screen comedy role as being the downtrodden fool.
