Downtown Matsumoto's Talk Show

This talk show was held in December 27 2003 in Nippon Budokan and is based on a radio program “Hososhitsu” whose personalities are Hitoshi Matsumoto and Mitsuyoshi Takasu. They called old friends who were together in elementary and junior high school.

Mitsuyoshi Takasu is the one of the most successful broadcasting writers in Japan. He was in the same elementary and junior highschool as Matsumoto and Masatoshi Hamada. (Moreover, the same kindergarten as Hamada.) He was dug up by Matsumoto when he wanted to be a broadcasting writer in 1987. Since then, he has taken part in the all of Downtown’s TV programs, therefore he is sometimes called “The third man of Downtown”.

We’ve been shown some bits of Downtown’s life when they were still young, and after seeing it, i feel like looking at them (Downtown) now in a different perspective… but in a postive way… if u know what i mean… waah, i’m having difficulty expressing in words what im thinking!

Awesome find. So thats what Wan-chan looks like, he was mentioned in the “Has Hamada done anything good?” manzai. It’s nice to see Hamada hasnt changed much, he’s still the same sadistic bastard he’s always been, in fact, it seems like he’s mellowed out with time, scary. Felt sorry for the Executive Cook who used to be really poor, when they showed his clip the show got real melancholy.

Awesome interview, I really laughed at the parts where they explain there sexual behavior xD. I hope the show they talk about in the end will be found one day:p

Ironically the poster above you, giffan, owns GNT GIFs They’ve contributed a lot of great videos here and via GNT GIFs
There was an old thread about it, I think the links are down now but the comments are still there.
