Name of Downtown & Cocorico members

Hi everyone, I’ve been following the Gaki No Tsukai show for several years now and I’ve always asked myself, the name they use to call each other for instance matsumoto hamada… is their family name or their first name?

I know Japanese people/Chinese/Koreans … write the family name first and then the first name, but is it still the case in Japan when people talk to each other?

Japanese rarely call others by their first names, so with that in mind, Matsumoto, Hamada, Yamasaki, Endou and Tanaka are all family names.
