What are the origins of the name ローラ (Rola)?

Rola is the tarento that appears on the second bus ride during the airport batsu game with her dog Moka (Mocha?).

I’d initially thought her name was "Lola". I saw another translations as "Laura". Her blog[/url:2448dpxk] and Twitter[/url:2448dpxk] clearly state it is Rola.

This got me wondering what the origin of the name "Rola". Does anyone have any idea?
