Just wanted to share after 13 years. HERO Season 2 started July 14 in Japan. Yes, it's Takuya Kimura/SMAP & as his leading lady: Keiko Kitagawa.

We saw Katsumura Masanobu (one of the main actors in the first series) get a cameo in the first few minutes, so I think they might blend in the new drama with glimpses of the old cast, including Abe, Otsuka Nene and Matsu Takako as well. Anyway the first episode got a 26.5% rating on TV, topping all TV programs for the night so it's started off brightly.
