Edit: Quicktime X + Perian usually has no problem with .ass subtitles, but Shibatabread’s Hotel Man subs aren’t working. VLC handles them fine. Any ideas? I wonder if it’s related to this; in the opening lines of the sub files in a text editor there’s this:
[code:3a7ijncx]PlayResX: 640
PlayResY: 480[/code:3a7ijncx]
which is lower res than the videos.
