After a long absence, Absolutely Tasty is back!

Nukazuke is a kind of Japanese pickle, usually makes by fermenting vegetables in rice bran.

*The fried version is called jiangao in Chinese (I dont really know how to romanize it, trying my best).

The stuff that looks like wet sand is rice bran? Does it taste bad or something? I wouldn't think it would have affected the grapes that badly.

They usually use this fermenting technique with vegetables like cucumber or radish. Think cucumber pickle, but made by different process.

And Hamada's first one is Nata de coco, Filipino coconut jelly.
