But yea, i miss this series :P, it’s been quite a long time since they do these o.o

The stuff that looks like wet sand is rice bran? Does it taste bad or something? I wouldn’t think it would have affected the grapes that badly.

Also, what were those disgusting looking cubes of Hamada’s?

They usually use this fermenting technique with vegetables like cucumber or radish. Think cucumber pickle, but made by different process.

And Hamada’s first one is Nata de coco, Filipino coconut jelly.

Posted it in the sub forums, if anyone missed it. Tried to list the ingredients.

“Chou cream” is a word created by the Japanese. “Chou” is from the French “chou à la crème.”

Merged with existing thread to prevent another annoying double post.

Also, moved to proper category.

Thanks iniquiti for moving my post. I thought it was safe to keep posting in that section for all the d-addicts links. But I am glad more people have responded to the thread. It’s a really funny episode.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I think this was one of the more gagworthy episodes. Possibly because they couldn’t figure out how foul it the item was until they tasted it… :)
