Hi all :)

Just wondering after seeing the epic post of Downtown’s photo books does anyone know where I can see other photo albums like this online? or to download? I’ve looked and I cannot find any sites like this. It doesn’t have to be exactly Downtown or Gaki related (although it would be amazing if they were). I really enjoy photo books but I cannot find a place that sells them in the UK :( so my only option is to either import or look online.

I think you’d have to search in Japanese to track them down online if you’re not already that is.
If there’s some comedian or idol for example you want a photobook of try looking up on Google what their name is in Japanese and add "photo album" to it 写真集.
e.g. ダウンタウン写真集
DowntownPhotoAlbum (Japanese text doesn’t use spaces).

On Downtown’s Japanese Wiki page there is a section for "写真集" (photo album) and it only lists 2:
ハレルヤ DOWN TOWN COMPOSITION 1988（1988年、ワニブックス）ISBN 4847020715
2丁目BOOK（1988年、データハウス）ISBN 4924442623

So it seems they were already kindly posted by lygerzero14.

Tsukitei (Yamazaki) has a photobook titled "Yamazaki Hosei Photos ‘Miracle’"
山崎邦正写真集「奇跡」
It is (as you’d expect) filled with very odd-looking photos and some short writings… :rofl:

I also saw him show the book to Hamada on his Hamachanga show once, he asked if he’d seen the book, Hamada is all like no :^) So he showed him a silly photo that’s in it of them together. :lol: Then Hamada starts looking at what else he’s got in the book and is cracking up at the ridiculous faces. :D

This is fantastic! ^_^ I will try and find Yamazaki Hosei Photos ‘Miracle’ and I’ll watch the video too.
