Well, Imada Koji (best known for his Gottsu ee kanji work) can be seen, so it must be an early 90’s episode of GNT. I’m not sure about why Hamada changes the lyrics. Perhaps there are some tricky kanjis and they wanted to see his reaction.

The song is called Kanpaku sengen, by Sada Masashi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsXkp9FVzgg

I think he changed the lyrics to be something more comical, he seems to mention Downtown a couple times as well as Imada which causes them to laugh.

what I hear, it goes somewhat like this (what Hamada sing)

You fool around (do boke), in front of /before the tsukkomi
There are things I want to tell you
There are very serious matter
Listen to My real intention/feeling
Before me, you go to the studio
After me, you leave the studio
Punch line is well made, always get big laugh
Shaved hair, don’t change anything
Don’t forget, that we’re Downtown
Two of us, is Downtown, even if our dressing room is different
You partner up with Imada and Nakai immediately (? I don’t really get this part)
But I forgive that much, Bring with me in silence (? I don’t really get this part)

(I think Matsumoto in the studio too)

A Japanese page here:

says that it’s from a program called "Warai No Jikan" (Time to Laugh) hosted by Matsumoto and Imada.

Nakai I’m guessing refers to Nakai Masahiro of SMAP. I googled whether they did a program together or something like that, and the only one I see is from 2002 to 2003, which is after Warai No Jikan’s run from 1999 to 2000, so maybe he’s referring to another program or even another Nakai, I don’t know.

The last line is more like "Just come with me." Literally, it’s "Don’t say anything. Come with me," but the "Don’t say anything" doesn’t literally mean don’t speak, it means something like, "Let me be your man. I’ll be the man and you be my wife, so just do what I say and come with me and we’ll be happy together." It’s a traditional-speak thing ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Thanks for the finding the show title

Thanks, for the correction, I wasn’t sure how to translate it as I’m unfamiliar with the phrase

Nakai Matsumoto has that "Matsumoto, Nakai vs Nihon Tv" special in 2002 and 2003, a SMAPxSMAp SP episode in 2001(?), plus that drama, Densetsu Kyoushi in 2000
