I know it's mostly complete but some subs are missing, so not really complete. Haunted Hotel and Onsen 1 (hot spring inn 2003) have more complete subs than this but ithey are still "work in progress"?

Or perhaps when a DVD version arrives which contains extra footage, then it will be moved?

Haunted Hotel and Onsen 1 have whole parts unsubbed, while this one is about completely subbed (the only unsubbed things are the small commentaries between scenes)

I don't think anyone will be re-doing the sub for the missing part, that's what I think

From what I've seen the Ass Darts onsen has no major missing sections, and the haunted hotel one only needs a very minimal amount subbed (mainly the first bit of talk after the intro)

I know I sound like I'm complaining, and probably get my head bitten off by some of you here but this newspaper has good subs but it's not what I'd call complete.

There's missing subs throughout the video, and the meeting section with all of the different comedians is not subbed properly (even admitted by the subber himself that he doesn't get some of the jokes) so I'd call that section incomplete.

I'm not asking anyone to resub, just stating that putting it in the complete section is a bit misleading.

Either way it's a perfectly fine sub and shouldn't stop anyone from downloading it.

EDIT: I hope I don't get banned or anything for saying this :pinch:

You won't get banned for saying that, don't worry.

The words in which you described the Onsen 1 and haunted hotel can be applied to this Newspaper one: It has no major missing sections, only a very minimal amount remains... ;) The batsu is imo completely subbed. What I'd call "work in progress" would be something like having whole parts unsubbed, giving a sensation of misunderstanding watching the Batsu. I don't think anyone felt that way watching this subbing.

Does this mean that the sub will stay as it is and not get edited or for an unforeseeable future?
I would love to see a more complete and accurate sub for this batsu game.
And by that statement, i do not mean that the subber did not do a great job, he did a wonderful job. I just hope someone will pick this up and look into it.

I agree with DonMoonie..

This should be move to work in progress...
Maybe someone in the future will kindly completed the sub...

Oh well.

Hello all...

Im new here, i been trying to find good quality Gaki No Tsukai videos and this seems like the right place :)

i have a newbie question.... is there a way to add the subtitles to the actual video file to make it stay permanantly in the picture...

My set-top box lets me view most video files like divx etc, but it wont show/read the subtitle file obviously and was wondering how to attach it to the video file... will it work with a video converter/joiner program ?

I use VLC and after selecting the subtitlefile it gets used automatically. Meaning the first (maybe also second) time you'll have to select it, but after that it gets chosen automatically. I don't know if it's the same thing for other programs

A settopbox is a hardware :P

You need to do the hardsub method, reencode it with the subs.
There are some threads about it: http://gaki-no-tsukai.com/board.php?boardid=13

Hey thanks for the tips...

checked out a few of the posts from the link you provided still cant work it out yet but im not asking for more help just yet... At the moment i got the tv shows playing on my other pc which is full 1080p HD, so my pc is connected to my 50 Full HD LCD via HDMI and works that way of course so for the mean time i will just use my other pc to watch them on my TV.....

The News Agency episode has awesemo picture quality, is it really DVD because it looks more High Def than DVD...

thanks again.....

it would be nice if someone gave it the once over or two and proof-read it..

there's that one part where the subber even says "Im very unsure about this" when matsumoto is supposedly saying "why dont you shove that up my ass"

and then there's the reporters meeting where all the comedians are sharing their "stories"... it barely makes sense and isnt completely subbed with the note saying that its all probably wrong..

That is why its in the 'work in progress' section.

thank you very much for the subs....

so no one is kind enough to finish the subs ?

that's sort of what i was implying in my post...

whilst, yes, this is in the "Work in progress" forum, it implies that there's actual work going on...

and if not, it'd be nice if someone just filled in some stuff...

but whatever.. im patient enough
