It's that time of year again...

People leave, people join.
It's been a great year so far for fan subbing in the Gaki community. The annual batsu game has been finished and the subbing groups are eager to work on projects
for your happiness and their development. Tofu panda fansubs has gone through many changes for the good and bad.
No matter how you look at it though. Change is good. Change can sometimes be a good drive and in this case it has been as such.
Kazuma our former leader, left us some time ago, with a great future ahead of him, soon finishing university. With his leave, many have followed him to relax, move on and focus
on other important aspects of their lives.

Having less people on the team is unfortunate but one can only look forward for improvement. We've been very productive and hope we can continue with that.
I as a typesetter would just like to express a big thank you to everyone for their great support. Not only fans but, the other subbing groups. Which have been very
including and helpful when it comes to subbing. Just as we, They love doing what they do and we are happy to be a part of Team Gaki with the aim of collaborating with
other groups in the community.
Thank you, thank you and thank you. It's been your help that has been generating willpower.

Okay, Let's cut to the deal you guys!

As it looks now, we have a good amount of translators aboard. And many are siting idle. This is unfortunate, It's obvious that we want to be productive.
And in order for us to be so we are now "Once again" looking for typesetters!
It is super fun to sub for Gaki No Tsukai, and it's not as hard as you think. Having alot of free time on your hands is a good plus for any hobby. But we
are still looking for anyone who think they would be willing to put some time away to help us and the community.

This does not involve much. Just a bit of basic knowledge and free time and of course a will to learn and help.
If you were like me, an observing fan, that had been following Gaki no Tsukai for years, and also a person with alot of free time at the time. It might be a good
idea to consider contributing to a wonderful community. Subbing, involves alot of laughing and alot of self contentment. And who wouldnt like that? Hahah.

If any questions arise don't hesitate to either post them here or send them to our email.

Bumping this into the Newest Posts list, hope you get some takers! :)
just release a translation of the material in a txt document, if the translators are waiting so idle.

Typsetting overall is luxury that takes a lot of time and makes things only more annoying.

In the VHS days it was normal to read a translated document, while watching a japanese video

I remember VHS releases of anime had typeset subs for the opening themes at least.

There is no rush what so ever when it comes to actually finishing and releasing subbed videos. And I'm sure, even if they like what they do, they appreciate some free time aswell :)
If they feel they want to work without having a typesetted file ready they are free to do so.
