For the second time around, all five members of the Gaki no Tsukai crew took part in the annual punishment game. This year the setting was chosen as a newspaper agency. The members had to go to a number of mock press conferences dressed as journalists. Endou’s ex-wife Chiaki made a guest appearance. In keeping with the theme of the punishment game, giant latex pencils were used to strike anyone who had been declared out.

sorry for the noob question but how you use the sub files?

i use vlc media player. Make sure the subtitles have the same name as the .avi
With VLC they should automatically start playing if they names the same.

I personally use the k-lite codec pack from codecguide and play everything in media player classic

Like Homelessbrian said, the sub file and the file you are playing need to have the same name and be placed in the same folder.

Although I do find playing files in vlc convenient because you don’t need to install any additional codecs, I prefer the legibility, format, and color of subs when used with the directvobsub or haali media splitter codec

Say you download an episode and the file name is episode1.avi Download the .ass file and put it in the same folder as the .avi. Make sure the .ass file is named the same thing as the .avi

In the folder you should now have 2 files (episode1.avi & episode1.ass)

Open the avi file in VLC and it should start playing the subtitles without any further setup.

The same goes for .srt. .sub etc… subtitle files.

Ass format is an advanced subtitles format which supports high quality subtitles with colors, different positions etc…)

The RAR files become a single (whole) .avi file once you download them and un rar it.

Mh i can load the .ass file but i don`t see any subs if i start the video with the .ass file. i use .srt files every day and never had problems.
