2016/2017 Batsu Game SPOILER Discussion - Science Lab

罰ゲーム
Perhaps the best known Gaki no Tsukai episodes are those dealing with batsu games, or punishment games, in which one or more of the cast members are subjected to after losing bets, major competition, or physical challenges

What can be said? I joined the stream with the Endo family as Lupin III characters in the bus.
Last year's bus segment with Nakai as guest was the best one I can remember, so it was impossible to beat.
Keep an eye on the upcoming extra scenes in the weekly show, because this year you could notice the cuts more than ever. The drawers, the tag game... a lot of content was left in the editing room. Suddenly Yamazaki appeared with a white face and nobody knew why, as well as covering just half of the drawers.

Back in the first games, as soon as they get to the new facility they're introduced to the president, CEO, director or whatever, but in later games it's postponed and looks kinda messy.
Itao's appearance is as short and "WTFish" as other years :D
Matsumoto looks like the healthiest and fittest of the group, but then again he was put aside during the tag game. I liked the static electricity spin and Yama-chan's dog balloons, but it's a shame the cords snapped so soon... and poor Cookie. He will be remembered :D

Tanaka's masks were awesome, and so were the Thai kick set-ups, but then again last year anti-kick pants was so fun.
Yamachan as Astroboy and Uran were also among the highlights. Another classic that returned strong was Jimmy, but when we all think it was going to be another stinky stuff gag, we get to know him drunk as a skunk.

Chouno's part was great with a nice setting no one could see coming. I wouldn't mind if it were a bit longer.
The spooky segment was great with plenty of twists. When will they decide to go all out and make a whole haunted batsu? Or even those extraordinary episodes that were Matsumoto and Yamazaki at a haunted location.

I had a nice time, but after how awesome last year was, I'm just slightly disappointed because I was expecting a little bit more :)
Also in the Tag game Endo looked like he had his hohohoi man pants on. But you never see how he ended up in them.
Just finished marathoning the thing and I can say with confidence that Jimmy was by far the funniest segment this year.
In general, it was very much of the same as previous years; much more about recycling the traditional segments and long scripted cameo parts than the actually funnier free-time sections. Aside from Jimmy, my favorite moments were the Thai kick experiments, the janken variations after the "recreation game" in idling room, the "personal item inspector" (with Kotouge and the kid) and Yama-chan/Hamada laughing bags.
KU・・・ KR・・・
man tanaka with those baby masks man...I've never laughed watching anything by myself until I saw that, also the jimmy onishi segment was hilarious, enjoyed the gameshow segment and the segment with rola and the two naked dudes as well.

anyone notice that itao itsuji wasn't on this one it felt like weird not seeing him in a batsu game
