Real Steal
6.5/10

Went in without any expectations, got a bit of a Gundam flashback of how that kid just happened to stumble upon that robot :-P
Don't really know what to think of it, seems a bit like a mix of several movies. I know that's common, but normally not this obvious.
It was like Gundam meets Rocky meets some father-son flick.

Characters weren't that memorable, and story was predictable, but fights were mildly entertaining.
Killer Elite

It's pretty good, 7/10
I Am Bruce Lee review...I am bruce lee.

So, I think it would be very unlikely for anyone to watch I am Bruce Lee and be like… that documentary sucked…. There was only a 4things I didn’t like about it. Kobe Bryant, the Weird dude from the black eye peas, another breakdancer (what n how the crap is their opinion relevant to bruce lee???), and I felt at one part they showed a bit too much UFC footage. I understand why they brought up UFC, but didn’t think it was necessary to show that much of it even tho I realize they really didn’t show that much. but I just felt, cmon, more bruce lee stuff!!! which there is plenty of btw. I do feel you get to know a lot more about bruce lee wathcing this documentary, not necessarily about his physical attributes which he’s probably known most for, but his way of thinking and his life since thru out the documentary they play some audio interview of his as well as showing clips from his famous interview he had with Pierre Burton in 1971. since the documentary is shown based on a timeline as most documentaries are, as its culminating to its end and his death, you actually cant help to feel quite sad with the footage they show and music they play. and yeah, it ends and ur just bummed out. there were mostly guys in the theater but what i thought was interesting was nobody got up when the ending credits started and it was super quiet. again, im gona blame it cause all the dudes were trying to hold back their tears haha. So in the end, bruce lee is the baddest mothers of all time. period.

Hunger Games review

i didn't read the book, nor buy into the hype. i simply watched cause story seemed interesting. long story short, if you watch this movie, most likely you'll enjoy it. but if you don't, you aren't missing anything. something about the acting at certain points, specifically from the main guy i just couldn't buy into. but anyhow, the movie itself is like a poorman's modern day Gladiator.

Act of Valor.

Okay movie. Real soldiers were obviously bad actors but I guess that's what gives the movie some of its perks.
I saw japanese movie Survive Styles 5+ last eveneing. It's like a Tarantino but in Japan. The story is kind of dumb but it's very very funny, and the esthetic and filming is good. It's one of the best, if yo liked Tarantino's movies you'll find yourself at esae with this one.

The last two films I saw were "Space Travelers" Which Hamada was in and "Curse of the spider women" Which stared Endo but it was more of a short film.

I would give Space Travelers a 9/10 it never got boring and kept me entertain till the end.

Curse of the spider women 7/10 even though I watch it to the end and I found it clever how the story was represented, it was just not enough.

Curse of the spider women - http://gakifiles.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04 ... -endo.html
Space Travelers - http://gakifiles.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05 ... amada.html
I think Curse of the Spider Woman is part of a movie made up of several short films about urban legends, so it's pretty empty on its own. I feel it strikes a good balance between funny and creepy.

I guess I should stay on topic... um, 1969's Paint Your Wagon. Nothing at ALL like the Simpsons parody. XD It's cheesy like most musicals are, and the characters act so goofy about women that it's almost like a Carry On movie, but it's good fun, hilarious in parts, and some of the tunes are actually pretty nice. Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood are always badasses, even in a musical.
