I agree, Vatican, this show was the first one in a few weeks that made me really laugh out loud. I wish they had shown Endo's performance in full, because I thought it looked funnier than License's part. Also, I've got no idea why, but I think Suga was way funnier with the song instead of him singing!

Fujiwara is not Downtown manager anymore for years but still appears each year, I guess Suga can do the same as well. I just hope his departure won't change the tone of the show and or original content.

Yeah like Johnhk said, it won't stop his name/identity being used for the whole "Gaasu" meme. He only really appeared in person briefly at the end of some of the batsus.

I believe Suga has not been in fully in charge of Gaki for a long time due to his other responsibilities at NTV, so things may not change that much. On the Japanese Gaki Wikipedia it has noted for some time that his role had been delegated to others. The manager who announced, after the big ratings the Earth Defence batsu got, that they will "strive to keep growing the yearly special as an event to be enjoyed by families in the living room at New Years" was not Suga for example. There's also of course other longtime staff behind the New Years specials still there like Takasu the writer, maybe they're the one who writes the Suga Gaasu stuff, never know!
